Vladimir Sedykh brings extensive musical experience and education to the Hermitage Duo. Educated at Rostov State Conservatory of Rachmonivov in Russia and the Sergei Prokofiev Music College in the Ukraine, Vladimir continues to amaze his audiences.

He has been the balalaika soloist for the Massenkoff Russian Folk Festival in San Francisco since 2001, played with the Don Cossacks State Academic Song & Dance Ensemble and the Rostov State Philharmonic. He was winner of the International Festival of Musicians dedicated to Ukrainian composer Mykola Lysenko. Across the US, Vladimir has performed in California, Deleware, Florida, Illinois, Massechusetts, Michigan, Nebraska, New Jersey, Ohio, Connecticut, Texas, and most recently is appearing with Gregory Nisnevich in Denver, Colorado.

Vladimir is a devoted and talented musician and his expertise includes, but is not limited to classical, folk, modern, jazz, swing, and World Music.
